The slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires continuous, unrestricted rotation while transferring power and/or data from a fixed structure to a rotating structure.
The slip ring is also called the rotating electrical interface, accumulator, rotor or rotary joint. A slip ring can improve system performance by simplifying operations and eliminating damage-prone wires dangling from moving joints. An unobstructed 80mm bore provides routing space for hydraulics, pneumatics or for mounting a concentric shaft. The cavity provides guidance space for hydraulics, pneumatics or mounting. Concentric shaft mount.
The LPT080 uses our proprietary fiber brush technology which offers several advantages over traditional contact ferrules including multiple contact points per brush bundle,
low contact force per fiber and low contact wear rates. Additionally, the fiber brushes do not need to be lubricated and produce no debris Approx. LPT080 features field
